- Asparagus: 2 bunches (24 oz total), tough ends trimmed
- Butter: 6 tbsp, divided
- Olive Oil: 2 tbsp
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Lemons: 2 (zest of both + 4 tbsp juice)
- Fresh Parsley: ¼ cup, chopped
- Salt and Black Pepper: To taste
- Red Pepper Flakes: ½ tsp (optional)
