Berry Banana Power Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen mixed berries
  • 2 medium bananas (frozen, cut into chunks)
  • 4 large handfuls fresh spinach (about 4 packed cups)
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 cups of milk (or milk of choice)
  • 4 tbsp chia seeds
  • Optional Boosters:
    • 4 scoops protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
    • 4 tbsp nut butter (almond or peanut)
    • ½ cup rolled oats

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients:
    • Ensure bananas and berries are frozen. Wash spinach thoroughly.
  2. Blend Liquids and Greens:
    • Pour almond milk into blender. Add spinach and blend until smooth (no green flecks remain).
  3. Add Remaining Ingredients:
    • Add frozen berries, banana chunks, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and any optional boosters.
  4. Blend Until Smooth:
    • Blend on high for 60-90 seconds, scraping sides as needed, until creamy and lump-free. Add extra milk (2 tbsp at a time) if too thick.
  5. Serve Immediately:
    • Pour into glasses. Best consumed fresh for optimal texture and nutrients.
