Ingredients
- 4 cups frozen mixed berries
- 2 medium bananas (frozen, cut into chunks)
- 4 large handfuls fresh spinach (about 4 packed cups)
- 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
- 3 cups of milk (or milk of choice)
- 4 tbsp chia seeds
- Optional Boosters:
- 4 scoops protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
- 4 tbsp nut butter (almond or peanut)
- ½ cup rolled oats
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients:
- Ensure bananas and berries are frozen. Wash spinach thoroughly.
- Blend Liquids and Greens:
- Pour almond milk into blender. Add spinach and blend until smooth (no green flecks remain).
- Add Remaining Ingredients:
- Add frozen berries, banana chunks, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and any optional boosters.
- Blend Until Smooth:
- Blend on high for 60-90 seconds, scraping sides as needed, until creamy and lump-free. Add extra milk (2 tbsp at a time) if too thick.
- Serve Immediately:
- Pour into glasses. Best consumed fresh for optimal texture and nutrients.
